This Is My Heaven

Words & Music:
Giant/ Baum/ KayeThis is my heaven
Being here with you
Make it last forever
This is my heaven
It's a dream come true
Make it last forever
Come to me now
And take my hand
This is the paradise I plan
You're like an angel
Sent from up above
Let's stay close together
You brought me heaven
When I shared your love
Make it last forever
Here 'neath the sky beside the sea
This is my heaven
When you come to me Recorded:

Paradise, Hawaiian StyleReactions
Yes one of a handful of enjoyable songs on the soundtrack and I play this particular one quite a lot. The voice timbre and the Hawaiian influence captures me, and if it had been recorded at the time would had enough quality for inclusion in Blue Hawaii.
This is such a beautiful ballad and it's one of just five songs from the "Paradise, Hawaiian Style" soundtrack album that I like. The other songs from this soundtrack album that I like are "Paradise, Hawaiian Style", "Drums Of The Islands", "Stop Where You Are" and "Sand Castles".
Elvis proved once again his versatility as a vocal artist on this one.
A boring ballad from a mediocre soundtrack and movie. Two stars.
This song and "sand castles" are the best on this soundtrack.
I like this beautiful song. The "Paradise Hawiian Style" soundtrack & Movie were good, but far from his best work.
I still bought all the records at this time, but basically I could not defend Elvis anymore for putting out such inferiror material. This LP was maybe the worst up to that point. I played it maybe twice and put it on the shelf forever. The movies were even worse than the records.
Really like the song for what it is but was disappointed upon watching the film to see that very litle of the tune is actualy used. Surprising given it's one of the strongest songs on the admittedly weak album.
The ballad from "Blue Hawaii 2", dang it!, I mean "Paradise, Hawaiian Style". Again PHS is inferior in everyway to "Blue Hawaii". It gave us the beautiful ballads, "Island Of Love", "Hawaiian Wedding Song", "Hawaiian Sunset", KU-u-i-PO" and of course the classic "Can't Help Falling In Love". PHS give us this mediocre ballad that is a little on the boring side.
