I really like the distorted guitarsound, but since there were 4 guitar players on the session, I have no idea who played it. I too think that Elvis could've used his "New Orleans" vocal on this one. It's still good though.
I have mixed feelings about this one. The guitar sound is the saviour on this very average song, and as stated Elvis seems to hold back in his delivery. It is however different from most recordings of that time, mostly because of the guitar, and I rarely skip it. - 3 stars
A feel good song. I Love it !!
It's not a classic, but I've liked it since I first heard it as a bonus song on the Fun In Acapulco soundtrack back in 1963. Some of you are way too picky. Not every song was going to be or needed to be a classic.
I quite like this song but it's far from being a classic. To my ears Elvis sounds a little bored, or maybe just uncommitted and never really lets lose on it.
Nice harmonies here. The Jordanaires did right by Elvis!
A song i never play which also goes for the album too. A lightweight rockaballad which Elvis seemed to record in abundance in the 1960s.
When compared with other recordings around 63 / 64 this is a really good one. SBS along with 'Love me Tonight', the other bonus song on the Lp, are perhaps the best ones on the album. Great guitar sound on the SBS track.
A good light rocker that served as a bonus tune on the "Fun In Acapulco" LP. Not really a song that would invite "growling" vocals and Elvis sings it perfectly in a nice smooth voice. 4 stars.
no, not my cup of tea. I have never really liked this song, and I´m sure, I never will. Just not interesting enough
One of my favorite songs. Not everything Elvis did has to be intense and growl'y or down and dirty. I think he chose exactly the perfect way to sing this song and present it. He's the lighter voice while the guitar gets the heavy role. I like the flirtatious remark, hadn't considered that before. I know! I know! There isn't an Elvis song I don't like but this truly is one I will play a repeat of sometimes when listening to my player.

I like the Guitar in this song. Not bad but not a classic.
I like this song, but like a lot of his stuff from this general period, it seems missing the sort of growl that Elvis had in his voice on his earlier rockers. He just sings along the surface of this. He could have easily gone deeper and done a nice down and dirty version of this. It's a lot like the version of "Let Yourself Go" in Speedway. When he did it again for the 68 special, he really dug down into the the song and turned it into something special. This is a song Elvis could have done the same thing with...but didn't. Still, all in all, not a bad track.

In contrast with movie songs it seems to be very good but right after Devil in Disguise or Elvis is Back this song is pretty average
Very average with Elvis sounding like he is holding back from giving it his all. I guess would have decent for a 1963 studio album track. Other than that, not much else to say.
Always skip this one like most of "the pieces of art" by these guys. I guess only Tepper/Bennett were even worse. Poor Elvis!
A wonderful extra and surprise on a soundtrack album. I like it as there is that particular Elvis treatment. He just knows how to make something out of it in a very own style. I listen to it regularly.
I could never see this as anything more than an album track on some dismal soundtrack album which I suppose it was.
This one actually earns my appreciation and the lyrics sound great with Elvis's voice on it...
Pretty good song that was wasted as a bonus song. I always thought it could have been a single, perhaps a nice follow-up to Devil In Disguise.
