Words & Music: Hazel Shade

Show me Thy ways, O Lord
Show me Thy ways, O Lord
Help me love when I'm hated
Spread joy unabated
Show me Thy ways, O Lord

Jesus was more than just a man from Galilee
Christ the son of God, he died for you and me
They scorched him and walked him upon in delight (?)
Still Jesus loved them, forgave and he cried

Show me Thy ways, O Lord
Show me Thy ways, O Lord
Help me love when I'm hated
Spread joy unabated
Show me Thy ways, O Lord

Show me Thy ways, O Lord
Help me love when I'm hated
Spread joy unabated
Show me Thy ways, O Lord

If the sound quality was a little bit better, I would have given this song 5 stars. I love to hear Elvis laugh, but on this song it sounds inappropriate.

A home recording, a genre which I usually treat less than seriously but in this case the finished article is quite impressive. Sung with sincerity and more than a tad of commitment - yes he laughs but only at the closing - 4 stars.

This is such a fabulous home recorded performance even though Elvis does laugh at the end of it. I've always enjoyed Elvis' sense of humor and his laughter. This very rare recording was such a great find. Elvis always greatly enjoyed singing gospel songs. He always sang them with sincerity, commitment and passion.

A classic! I give it the same amount of stars that are in the heavens.
