Great. I think Elvis knew what an amazing voice he had and knew that he could have done anything with it, including opera. There is literally nothing he could not have done--blues, folk, rock, opera, swing. In a way, every once in a while, the mostly-bad movie soundtracks gave him a chance to reach into other types of music. And he always knocked it out of the park
Lovely version of a Italian classic!
Elvis sounds good and the scene in VLV where his character is singing the song in the background as the Count tries to seduce Ann Margaret is cute. On record it would have been ok on a soundtrack LP, but it doesn't enhance the "Elvis For Everyone" LP.
Short and sweet.Elvis in excellent voice on this this good album of left overs!
being italian I can say my opinion..ELVIS sing in a perfect italian a beauty of song..its a pity too short
Love his voice on this one. Nice song and for me just the right duration. Longer would be too much. So just a nice intermezzo on the LP which is as a whole quite dear to me! I have to admit though that in this time of cds and mp3s I haven't listened to this song for more than a decade.
Elvis loved Enrico Caruso, who sang it years before our man sang it. It's okay, because it's short. Don't want to hear three minutes of this.
What there was of it, which was just over a minute was good, and sung well by Elvis, but I always felt this sounded like a long intro on something still to come.
This is such a beautiful song and Elvis' rendition of it was marvelous. I love hearing Elvis sing in foreign languages.
Another good song from the "Viva las Vegas" movie. To bad it is a litlle short, i like Elvis singing foreign languages. 31/2 stars
Italian, an more then ok song.
