I don't worry
Whenever skies are gray above
Got a pocketful of rainbows
Got a heart full of love

Mister Heartache
I've found a way to make him leave
Got a pocketful of rainbows
Got a star up in my sleeve

Kiss me extra tender
Hold me extra tight
'Cause I'm savin' your sweetness
For a lonely night, aye
Aye, aye, aye, aye, aye, aye, aye, aye

No more teardrops
Now that I've found a love so true
I got a pocketful of rainbows
Got an armful of you

Kiss me extra tender
Hold me extra tight
'Cause I'm savin' your sweetness
For a lonely night, aye
Aye, aye, aye, aye, aye, aye, aye, aye

No more heartaches
Now that I've found a love so true
Got a pocketful of rainbows
And an armful of you

Rainbows...
Rainbows...

There was never a 1976 version. However an "alternate version" of this song appeared in the "Jerry McGuire" movie and on the movie soundtrack album, about 10 years back. And sadly that wasn't Juliet Prowse' voice, that sang with Elvis in G.I. Blues.

i think the overriding thing from everybody here is just how beautiful Elvis's voice is. Don't think i've ever heard him sing so well. Very catchy song too and also one of my faves.

What a beautiful song. Should have been a top 5 hit. I even love the version with Juliet Prowse singing background. This shows the range and the voice of Elvis. Amazing!

Should have been a single !! Perfection ! The "alternate versions" are even better than the version that appears on the "G.I. Blues" soundtrack.

Elvis is absolutely perfect on this ballad from the movie "G.I. Blues". Good lyrics and one of my favorite Elvis peformances of all time. The scene in the movie with Juliet Prowse in the cable car is one of the many highlights from this great film. 5 stars.

Yes, it's 100% pop. But boy, is it good.

Another very soppy song from Wise/Wiseman, but oh what a song. Beautifully sung, Elvis is in fine voice and it sounds unbelievable. I love the scene in the movie too in the cable car...it's in my all time top 10 ever tracks.
