Walk down to the beach at sunset
Look as far as you can see
You will find that endless ocean
And that's how my love will always be

I bring you never ending, never ending
never ending, never ending
never ending, never ending love

Look up at the sky at midnight
Gaze up on the starlit view
Just as heaven has no boundaries
Neither does my love for you

I bring you never ending, never ending
never ending, never ending
never ending, never ending love
Never ending love
Never ending love
Never ending love
Never ending love
Recorded: 1963/05/26, first released on single

Overlooked gem. Performed beautifully and perfectly by Elvis and the backup singers and band.Should have been huge on the charts. It would be nice to have this on a new "Love song CD collection" for the general public to discover.

The A side was very well known already to me so this B side was a new song for me and as such I played it more often as far as this single goes. But better than the A side? No way. Such a Night may be in the top 5 of Elvis recordings. This was nice because it was a good ballad and was new at the time. Should have been paired with another 1963 song as a follow up to Devil In Disguise. Would have been nice to have 2 non-soundtrack singles in a row in 1963

I remember buying the single and I much preferred 'Never Ending'. Even after all these years I would never skip it. A real gem, not hidden by me. 5 stars.

Loved it from the day I bought it. Played it ten times more than the A side which was a big hit here in Denmark. No one could sing this kind of ballad like Elvis.

This song was to good to be hidden away. So underrated as far as fans are concerned and completely unknown to casual listeners. A beautiful song which reminds me of long summer nights so long ago and walks hand in hand by the sea. Could have been Blackpool even! In my top ten Elvis songs of all time.

A soft ballad with almost a Johnny Mathis type feel to it. Recorded at the excellent Nashville sessions in May of 1963 that would have produced one of his best studio LP's if RCA had released the 12 masters together. Even if they had released it in 1964 without "Love Me Tonight" and "Slowly But Surely" (included on the "Fun In Acapulco" LP as bonus songs), it would have been infinitely better than the "Kissin Cousins" LP. They could have substituted "Memphis, Tennessee" and "It Hurts Me" for the two songs that had been used. Released an extended play from "Kissin' Cousins" with the title song sung over the credits, "There's Gold In The Mountains", "Tender Feeling", "Once Is Enough" and "Catchin' On Fast" and then would have made "Smokey Mountain Boy", "One Boy, Two Little Girls" and "Barefoot Ballad" unreleased (the way it should have been!). A "Viva Las Vegas" LP could have been released in the late Spring and they could have included the song "Anyone" as a bonus song.

I remember buying the single when it came out in 1964, again one of the many Elvis tracks that stand out and are tucked away on the B side or became album fillers. "Walk down to the beach at sunset" Strange! but I always think of Blackpool sands and Pamela when I here this! That was in 1964 too
