My Heart Cries for You

Rating:
3.0 / 5

Words & Music: Carl Sigman Percy Faith

If you're in Arizona, I'll follow you
If you're in Albuquerque, I'll be there too
We'll have a little chance to start a-new
Because my love is endless for you

My heart cries for you
Sighs for you, dies for you
My arms long for you
Please come back to me
An unimportant quarrel
Is what we had

We have to learn to live with the good and bad
Come together da da da la dum....
This loneliness is driving me mad

My heart cries for you
Sighs for you, dies for you
My arms long for you
Please come back to me

My heart cries for you
Sighs for you, dies for you
My arms long for you
Please come back to me
Please come back, come back, come back to me

Not a bad song, just a bad recording.

Not bad for a Private Recording with attractive harmonies and voices not drowned out by the piano. I listen through my headphones to the version on the Complete Masters Collection and the sound is more than passable although obviously not the quality of a studio recording.

First I heard it I thought it was a very good song. And later realized it was Elvis. (Well, you know, I knew it was Elvis singing but not the song was very good)
