He

Rating:
2.3 / 5

Words & Music: Jack Richards Richard Mullen

If I have wounded any soul today..
If I have.. foot...
(he actually starts "An Evening Prayer": first one and a half lines)

He can turn ni... the tiee-tiee-tides and calm the angry sea
He alone decides who writes a symphony (talked: eee-ee-ee where's it go
it's seventh..)
Ya..da-da-da.. da-da-da darkness bright
He keeps watch all through each long and lonely night
He can turn the time to hear a child's first prayer
Saint or sinner call and always find Him there.
Though it makes Him sad to see the way we live,
He'll always say, "I forgive... I forgive"
He'll always say, "I forgive."

It's such a shame that Elvis never got around to recording a proper version of this great gospel song. The best rendition of this song is certainly Al Hibbler's rendition.
