Oh yes I’ve got a lot o' living to do
A whole lot o' loving to do
Come on baby, to make a party takes two
Oh yes I’ve got a lot o' living to do
A whole lot o' loving to do
And there's no one who I'd rather do it with-a than you

There's a moon that's big and bright in the milky way tonight
But the way you act you never would know it's there
So baby, time's a wasting
A lot of kisses I ain't been tasting
I don't know about you but I’m gonna get my share

Oh got a lot o' living to do
A whole lot o' loving to do
Come on baby, to make a party takes two
Oh yes I’ve got a lot o' living to do
A whole lot o' loving to do
And there's no one who I'd rather do it with-a than you

There's a balmy little breeze
That's whistling through the trees
And it's telling you to pitch a little woo with me
Why don't you take a listen
You'll never know what you've been missing
Cuddle up a little closer and be my little honey bee

Oh got a lot o' living to do
A whole lot o' loving to do
Come on baby, to make a party takes two
Oh yes I’ve got a lot o' living to do
A whole lot o' loving to do
And there's no one who I'd rather do it with-a than you

You're the prettiest thing I’ve seen
But you treat me so doggone mean
Ain't you got no heart, I’m dying to hold you near
Why do you keep me waiting
Why don't you start co-operating
And the things I say are things you want to hear

Oh got a lot o' living to do
A whole lot o' loving to do
Come on baby, to make a party takes two
Oh yes I’ve got a lot o' living to do
A whole lot o' loving to do
And there's no one who I'd rather do it with-a than you

It wears me out singing this. What a tempo. There's a moment at 2 minutes 11 seconds where he giggles a bit. Must have been fun to record.

The film sequence fom Loving You was a piece of rock 'n' roll movie magic. Totally electrifying both visually and in sound, this is one magnificent rocking performance.

This is such a brilliant, energetic, groovy, electrifying, exciting and catchy song and it's easily one of the very best Rock 'N' Roll songs that's ever been written. This song should've been a smash hit for Elvis here in the United States, but it wasn't. It's one of seventeen songs that Elvis recorded that was written by Aaron Schroeder.

Fantastic rock n' roll from the greatest rock n roll singer in history. Songs like this one, "Jailhouse Rock", "Santa Claus Is Back In Town", "Hard Headed Womanz" and "King Creole" are what sets Elvis apart from any other rock n' roll singer or imitator. Amazing energy along with the way he could shout the lyrics and still make it sound musical is part of the Elvis magic.

This is a fabulous RnR with great video. The first movies were all fantastic and this is one of the reasons. A joyous, dedicated ELVIS, expressing the energetic burst he is famous for. Those fifties videos supply us with the best video clips ever. Actually this song should have been used for the period shortly after the NBC TV Special! An ELVIS concert was in many ways the best party one could attend to.

Take a great vocal with high energy and then, as a bonus, add the video footage from the movie and what more could you want? Superb!

Here´s a song no Elvis fan can dislike. I´m pretty sure of that. It´s a great song from a time without mistakes from Elvis. I´m not a rock n roll-fan at all but this song is fantastic

Great song! I was listening to this on the way to work today! I love the alternate version as well. And the movie Loving You is great--to have a pristine document in beautiful full color of Elvis performing in 1957 is fantastic.

One of his best [movie] songs. Indeed, this could have been the name of the movie instead of 'Loving You'. Elvis acting out the part of Elvis, what more could Elvis fans ask for.
