Do you or don't you love me
Such an easy question
Why can't I get an answer
Tell me, will you or won't you need me
Such an easy question
Why can't I get an answer

All you do is give a sigh
And beat around the bush
Can it be that you're too shy
To give yourself a little old push
Can you or can't you tell me yes
It's such an easy question
Why can't I get an answer

Elvis doing Dean Martin. Great, great half pop/rock that slides so easily to the ear that its pure honey. Just another wonderful song from the great "Pot Luck" album. Also another one RCA missed the boat on with it's poorly timed single release. Could have been a massive hit, instead of just top twenty.

Not a favourite song but from a great album which had Elvis in great vocal form, on a number of classy songs. Three stars from me.

This is recorded very well. A lovely song, done very well. Very well indeed.

Here in the States, it was a decent sized hit for Elvis in the Summer of '65 peaking at #11 on the Billboard pop chart and #1 on the easy listening chart (the 2nd of three straight chart toppers on that chart). The flipside "It Feels So Right" peaked at #55. Pretty good showing for two songs that had been previously released and were three and five years old respectively.

Real nice easy flowing song, sung perfectly by Elvis. The song, according to the charts, was a moderate hit single. But it should have been a bigger hit. The song was featured in the movie "Tickle me" and since has been featured in various Radio and TV spots over the years. Would Love RCA Records, to put out a new CD, with familiar and less familiar Elvis songs, to the general public, along with some new remixes.

Sounded great on the radio during the Summer of 65, as did other "Tickle Me" songs which were all older recordings .
Good song , great vocal.

Imagine if RCA had released Suspicion/Easy Question as a single 4 weeks before the release of Pot Luck! The single would have gone gold and elevated the sales of Pot Luck too! Great song.

The voice quality on Pot Luck showed Elvis at the top of his game, and this song did not let the standard down of one of my favourite albums. As others have said, this is a Dino like song, and that ain't a bad thing. as the song flowed pleasantly along, and was a classy performance.

This is such a stellar song and it's one of nine songs that Elvis recorded that was written by Winfield Scott. "Pot Luck" is such a magnificent album.

Definitely a Dean Martin styled ballad that Elvis sings very well. The song is not a classic, but it is one of the better tracks on side A of the LP "Pot Luck". 3 1/2 stars.

love the song and he must have as well because he hand-picked it to be put in his 65'film>>"Tickle Me."

An all time fave of mine. Sort of Dean Martin like. Dino, another fave of mine.

A 'lazy' song to me. Can take it or leave it. Never did anything for me either way. I felt he was capable of much better than this.

Actually, this is a good performance. This song was one of my earliest favorites from my first elvis album (Swedish hit collection). Sure, he could have done better songs at this time, but the whole sixties is a period full of underrated songs. This surely is one of them

The Pot Luck album is one of my favourites this track is very mediocre but Elvis voice was at its best around this time, so like many times before he has made the best out of mediocrity.
