Do you or don't you love me
Such an easy question
Why can't I get an answer
Tell me, will you or won't you need me
Such an easy question
Why can't I get an answer

All you do is give a sigh
And beat around the bush
Can it be that you're too shy
To give yourself a little old push
Can you or can't you tell me yes
It's such an easy question
Why can't I get an answer
Recorded: 1962/03/18, first released on Pot Luck

Definitely a Dean Martin styled ballad that Elvis sings very well. The song is not a classic, but it is one of the better tracks on side A of the LP "Pot Luck". 3 1/2 stars.

love the song and he must have as well because he hand-picked it to be put in his 65'film>>"Tickle Me."

An all time fave of mine. Sort of Dean Martin like. Dino, another fave of mine.

A 'lazy' song to me. Can take it or leave it. Never did anything for me either way. I felt he was capable of much better than this.

Actually, this is a good performance. This song was one of my earliest favorites from my first elvis album (Swedish hit collection). Sure, he could have done better songs at this time, but the whole sixties is a period full of underrated songs. This surely is one of them

The Pot Luck album is one of my favourites this track is very mediocre but Elvis voice was at its best around this time, so like many times before he has made the best out of mediocrity.
