A shame that Elvis never got round to doing a good studio version of this Chuck Berry classic.I never really listen to the Million Dollar Quartet album as it is too fragmented. To enjoy a good version of the song I play the Buddy Holly single released in the UK by Coral in the 1960s

The defenitive recording of this song is by Buddy Holly. What a sound!!

Not a real Elvis song. Cmon stop putting these jam session, rehearsal type songs as song of the day. Let it be full studio recordings. Anyway, Buddy & Chuck had the best recording of this. Elvis should have recorded a whole album of Chuck Berry tunes!

Jerry Lee sings Too much monkey business, but others want to do Brown eyed handsome man. Why then did Elvis do Too much monkey business later, but not Brown eyed handsome man?

This shouldn't be here as a song of the day. As for other versions, I prefer Waylon Jennings.

Apart from being unique and interesting that is as far as the Million Dollar Quartet recordings go for me.This song as previously stated was a great addition to the Buddy Holly portfolio,
