As you travel along on the Jericho Road

A good gospel tune, I think Jerry Lee Lewis doing the harmony.

An album I rarely play now but one that I really like. This is a great mid tempo gospel number with Jerry Lee Lewis I think with the prominent vocal ( from memory).

Sam Phillips should've had Elvis, Jerry Lee, Johnny and Carl do a proper studio album. He could've marketed and sold it to their respective record labels and made a fortune.

In an interview with a Dutch magazine Cash says he can hear himself on the CD, but that he is singing higher than usual, because Carl Perkins sang low, because Carl's voice was rough of singing much for recording. The Million Dollar Quartet recordings were done during an Carl Perkins recording on which an unknown Jerry Lee Lewis participated. But I think Cash left early because Elvis is saying here "I would take young Johnny Cash to do this". All these guys were raised hearing gospel music. You can really hear that here.

A great tune from a classic session that should have been marketed properly. I give it the same amount of stars that are in the heavens.

Why are we constantly dwelling on the so-called "Million Dollar Quartet" recordings done at Sun Studio back in the 1950's? Give it a rest please. Review real songs.
