Anyone (Could Fall in Love with You)

Rating:
3.6 / 5

Words & Music: Bennie Benjamin Sol Marcus Louis DeJesus

Anyone could fall in love with you
Anyone who knows you as I do
Anyone could fall in love with you
And I love you my darling

Anyone could lose his heart like me
Anyone who has eyes that can see
Anyone could fall in love like me
And I love you my darling

You're the star I reached for
You're a dream so rare
You're my greatest treasure
Nothing can compare

Anyone could want you for his own
Anyone not only mine alone
Anyone could fall in love with you
And I love you my darling
Anyone could fall in love with you
And I love you my darling

Good have been better. I'm not sure if it's the lyrics or the performance.

A well written song for the movie "Kissin' Cousins", but not included in the movie. Elvis' voice is a little faint on this one, but this ballad is light years better than "One Boy, Two Little Girls" that acually made the movie. This song leads of side 2 of the soundtrack LP as a bonus song and is a 2 1/2 to 3 star track.

Maybe the best movie song that never made the movie! Certainly better than most if not all the songs that did make this silly film.

Good song, but Elvis harldy sings it. Seems like he could have put a little more oomph into it. Despite that, better than most of the soundtrack

I think "Anyone (could fall in Love with you)" is a real nice addition (bonus Track) to the "Kissin' Cousins" soundtrack. He sings it nicely. "Echos of Love", another bonus Track, is one of my other favorites on this album/CD.

One of my favorite songs from Elvis, the song reminds me of somebody i love very much, sung from the heart as only Elvis can do.

I had this in my head a whole day after I played it last time, I really like the way he sings it, I get a picture in my head of a guy sitting on his girls bed side singing this to her. This song and Tender Feeling is the two best ballads from the album IMO.

Almost as good as the great Tender Feeling from the same album, this beautiful song demonstrates what a master he was at the tender ballad.

Too much "anyones" in one song. Terrible lyrics that bring down a nice ballad.

This is such a stellar ballad and it's such a shame that it wasn't included in the movie "Kissin' Cousins". This ballad is my second most favorite song from the "Kissin' Cousins" soundtrack album. In my opinion, "Tender Feeling" is the best song from the "Kissin' Cousins" soundtrack album.

Very pleasant song , very well sung. One of the highlights of the album. Would go nicely on a Love Song s compilation.

That guitar intro sounds like classic Scotty Moore to me, but I might be mistaken. There were four guitar players on the session, so it might be someone else playing the intro.

Very pleasant ballad and well sung imo! Only drawback is that it was recorded at the Kissin' Cousins sessions, thus the sound! Still, I like this one very much, always have.

Vocal overdub take 2/alternate master of this ballad is now available on the "Kissin' Cousins" soundtrack on the FTD collectors label.
