Words & Music: Fred Wise/ Randy Starr
Now Adam and Evil, they go hand in hand
Eve taught him sin, that's the way it all began
But every time you kiss me, my heart pounds like a drum
So trouble is a woman, trouble here I come

I'm lonely like Adam, you're evil like Eve
I shouldn't take forbidden fruit 'cause I believe
I'll be heading straight for heartache
I should cut loose and run
But if loving you means heartache
Heartache, here I come

You're not the angel that I dreamed about
But you're the devil I don't want to live without
A woman's a woman, a man is a man
I can't be free I'm just putty in your hands
Who cares about tomorrow, I need your love tonight

And even if you're evil, baby hold me tight

You're not the angel that I dreamed about
But you're the devil I don't want to live without
A woman's a woman, a man is a man
I can't be free I'm just putty in your hands
Who cares about tomorrow, I need your love tonight

And baby if you're evil, baby hold me tight
Hold me tight
Hold me tight
Hold me tight

Another one of the good songs from the movie and soundtrack "Spinout". The movie was actually quite good and fun to watch. To comment on the acting or Elvis' hair is just silly. It doesn't take a lot of acting to be in a movie like this and no one in it was bad, in fact, Shelly Fabares, Will Hutchins, Jack Mullaney, Jimmy Hawkins, Diane McBain, Warren Berlinger, Deborah Walley, Carl Betz and Elvis take a so so script and make it quite entertaining. As far as his hair is concerned, I wish that for one day I looked like Elvis on his worst hair day!

Good song & decent soundtrack. The movie? Pretty silly with bad acting, very bad. Elvis' hair looked like you could bounce rocks off it.

Not a great song. But enjoyable. An enjoyable soundtrack overall. I loved the movie then and still do today.

Supposedly Elvis asked for more uptemp numbers to be written for this film and as a result the soundtrack is one of the better ones form the 60's. So why didnt Elvis demand better songs for other films and reject some of the crap that came his way? This song itself is not great but at least it moves. Seems the band played better on this LP also.

It's far too evil for me. It's a true shame Elvis was recording this crap in 1966, when others were recording rock/pop milestones! Bad song, bad movie!

I would like to hear the "film" soundtrack that is different to the LP.For example "I'll Be Back" finishes on the LP but carries on in the film. Not a bad soundtrack,"Spinout" is a good number,"All That I Am" is also good. Why have we not had these track's on an outtakes LP yet ?

I always liked the movie. And if you do like an Elvis Presley movie, that means that the soundtrack is decent, which I think it was. I think this song is ok. The title track and Am I ready are my favorite songs from this movie, but most songs are ok.

At the time, the Spinout album was a fresh breeze to me! Loved to hear some real uptempo numbers again! Actually the last soundtrack album with some punch to it, imo! Stop, Look And Listen, Adam And Evil, Never Say Yes, Spinout and I'll Be Back were favourites. Not to mention the outstanding bonus tracks on this album. Spinout brings back fond memories to me!
