Elvis performed at the University of Ohio, Dayton, Ohio. In The Star appeared an article by Steve Dunleavy (Red and Sonny West's collaborator) with parts of the telephone conversation earlier that month between Elvis and Red, which Red had taped. The headline was: " Elvis Dramatic Plea To His Ex-Bodyguards: Don't Write That Book About Me". This all was a terrible way to wake up for Elvis, that what he had considered to be a private thing between him and his friends was now fully out of control and well known to all.
