There was a rehearsal at the NBC studio from 11.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. and afterwards Elvis started to work on the informal jam with Scotty and D.J. Fontana. Later that afternoon Elvis returned to Western Recorders, where recorded the vocals for "Memories".
