Elvis went to the American Studio in Memphis. The welcome by the band was a bit skeptic; they didn't know what to expect from Elvis. But with the first song, Long Black Limousine, which Elvis turned into an impassioned soul shout, they were convinced. The session went on till 5.00 a.m. although Elvis had a bad cold.
