The first week of January has passed, but finally the Christmas wishes from EPE arrived in our mail box, the annual EPE Christmas CD. Since these are real collectables we’ll do a short review in our usual style.

Design

This is the first EPE Christmas CD which comes in a standard jewel case instead of a paper slipcase. To be honest, the cover looks a bit like a cheap ‘Hayride’ release with the vague image of fireworks over the Graceland mansion behind a great shot of Elvis. On the back we get a ‘thank you’ and the best wishes from Lisa Marie and Priscilla.

Content

These CD’s contain one song each. This year they chose for ‘The Wonderful World Of Christmas’ recorded on May 16, 1971 and first released on ‘Elvis Sings The Wonderful World Of Christmas’.

Conclusion

A nice CD for the collectors and a nice tradition from Lisa and Priscilla. This edition differs from the previous ones because of the jewelcase.
