The third Elvis release by Green Hill in "The Legendary Masters"-series, after "The Love Songs" and "The Gospel Songs", is "The Christmas Songs". Obviously this is not for the Elvis-fans (okay, except the very fanatic collectors), but for the casual buyer.

Design

The design is about the same as the first two Green Hill-releases, but where the love- and gospel collections were tasteful because of the simple setting, this one gets a bit tacky.

Content

The 10 tracks clock only 23'10, which sounds like thievery to us, certainly since this release is going to cost the buyer almost $16. For 16 bucks one can get much better and much more complete Christmas releases.
