It`s amazing that more than 25 years of Elvis`dead his music is on the top of the world charts!

Hi Jim, The UK placing is explained on my site which a am unable to give you but the basic explination is that it has already entered the UK charts because of Import sales and not actual UK retail sales. Hope this helps

I am amazed that some Elvis fans are disappointed in the chart progress of the latest remix. I have been so pleased with the charts positions Elvis has gotten in the last couple of years. Elvis has been dead for over a quarter of a century. The fact that he has charted music for six decades is an amazing feat in itself. I am not sure how many other artist can make that claim.

Frankly I'm amazed at some of the negative comments on this great site about Rubberneckin'. "a worldwide flop" indeed! The facts speak for themselves. No matter what came after ALLC it was never going to match the success of that given all the particular circumstances surrounding that track. Why not go back to the releases before ALLC and look again at how well they did. I can remember being ecstatic that a re-released Suspicious Minds hit the top twenty in the UK a couple of years ago and the TTWII clip was shown on TOTP and Music TV stations. We've really no right to expect an artist who has been dead to be still having hits at all. Lets enjoy the success while we can and be realistic.

New entry at No 4 in the "real" UK charts. I'm looking forward to seeing the video on Top of The Pops tomorrow , I'll be watching with my 3 young kids who'll all be wanting to see Black eyed Peas and whoever else is a current chart favourite, and quite frankly I'll be pleased as punch to be sitting doing this in 2003. Ten years ago I'd never have imagined this would happen although like everyone else always believed it was possible. Apart from ALLC this is his biggest UK hit in terms of the charts since Its Only Love in 1980. Go further back beyond Way Down and it's a good few years till you'll find such a successful chart hit for the King. OK so single sales are not what they once were but lets enjoy the moment. My kids tell me that nowadays if you don't go straight in at No 1 you've lost your chance. I hope they're wrong but if not it's still been a fantastic success in UK chart terms. In my book BMG and all responsible deserve congratulations and encouragement. Thankyou

Damien, I am surprised at your opinion :of "we have no right to expect..." We had and have every right: actually all this song needed was a little push to get it to the top.BMG is content to earn their big bucks off Elvis with next to no promotion costs. What have BMG done to really promote this single ? Can you name one Ad ? All the publicity has been generated via a "Press Release" on a Graceland held event mainly for (Im a Roustabout) " a historic find" to promote the Album "2nd to none "and a small aside for the video to "Rubberneckin" and a PRIVATE party or two also with the album not single in mind. It may not have reached the levels of ALLC but certainly a much better chart posisition than it has achieved.

I urge everyone in the UK to buy it on the first week of release. Perhaps the intitial sales flurry might push it to that top spot. All the time Elvis is only one number one ahead of the Beatles, there is every chance something will be released to even things up again - perhaps the stripping down of the Let It Be album will be accompanied by a single! Lets put it out of reach for Elvis. Cheers

Rubberneckin´ could be in better charts around the world. Here in Brazil, they are not playing in the radios yet. They are waiting to release 2nd to None to explode this remix.

Rubberneckin' in Canada is # 8 this week. Up from # 10.

The youth of today need Elvis to help them stay sane.. BMG must promote '2nd to none' heavily and Elvis will do the rest... If we get 'rubberneckin up the charts in the USA, it will give a huge boost across the boards in other countries. Call your local radio stations and vh1 and mtv, and have them play the single and aire the video....

Here's a suggestion that no one has comment on; a Christmas re-mix release. There are a lot to choose from. Check out the listings on 'Christmas Peace' I'll watch for the fans views.
