On November 3rd, Belgium’s most popular daily paper, “Het Laatste Nieuws”, released a 12 track Elvis CD as part of the “Het Beste Van” (the best of).

Design

The CD is part of a series and the design of this CD matches that of the series of the Flanders newspaper. It is not the best, but certainly an original choice. It looks like a cheap budget CD. The gold disc inside does match the achievements of our man.

Content

The special release is part of the new “Hit CD’s” series that this paper is putting out. One coupon from the news paper, and 4.95 euro is enough to get this CD.

Record company BMG gave special permission for this CD. The CD is just a short one with twelve tracks, nothing special for the casual fan. The beauty of this release is that it allows a lot of people to get to know Elvis in a very cheap way.

Conclusion

This is just a small selection for a small price, but aimed at a wide audience. This one could be interesting for the “I want them all” collectors.
