Elvis In Atlanta

By ElvisNews.com/ Lex, June 23, 2017 | Music

FTD just released two shows taped from soundboard in Atlanta, on April 30 and May 1.

Design

The default 3 panel layout (5”) is used. Keith Alverson is guilty of making the pictures, so that part of this release is okay.

Content

Like most of the spring shows these two are pretty good too. Not as good as the July shows, but still very entertaining. I prefer the April 30 show a bit more, since he doesn’t mess up My Boy. On the other hand, the May 1st show has Help Me Make It Through The Night, which has always been one of my guilty pleasures.

The sound is pretty good. Gladly the orchestra is on both in the back (even hardly audible), which I am happy with. The downside is that the backing vocals are pretty upfront, sometimes a bit annoying.

Conclusion

I guess everyone knew what to expect from these shows and that is exactly what you get. They already got more spins in my house than many other recent FTD release.

Yes i played this much more than VEGAS 74 FTD!~ pretty good/enjoyable shows and a great arm feeling comes across-why i could even had enjoyed the May 2nd show had it been included... more satisfying than Elvis in Lakeland,Florida FTD!~
