In their American Music Legends series Cracker Barrel got BMG Special Products to release an Elvis Christmas CD.

Well, what can we expect for a Christmas CD? Indeed a cover in Christmas style, and we got that. Besides the pictures on the front and back we found no Elvis, but in the inlay there is a picture of the X-mas decoration at Graceland.

We can be very short on that: it’s too short. With a running time of just over 20 minutes there is a lot of wasted space. But there is a “but”… like we mentioned in the newsupdate regarding this release the version of “Merry Christmas Baby” is the “This Is Elvis”-version, with overdubs. This little mistake (we presume) by BMG SP might be a reason for a lot of fans to run to the nearest Cracker Barrel and buy the CD.
